On Mac, drag Filelane to Applications. On Windows, run the Filelane installer.
Sign in and give it a name.
Choose Get started free and use Google or your email address. Name this computer so it’s easy to spot.
Connect your other computer.
Install on another supported computer and use the same account and sign-in method. Your computers appear together, ready to share.

Use Public links to send files to anyone with a browser—including people on a phone or tablet. They open the link and choose what to download.

For public downloads larger than 256 MiB, use Chrome or Edge on a computer so files can save directly to disk.
